I happened to be looking at the snooker and pool questions and came across the term “predator shaft”.  Having always played snooker and pool with ordinary standard type cues I just wondered what is this new invention?

I haven’t played for a number of years and am completely out of touch so hope you’ll excuse my ignorance…

What’s the best mid price range Pool Cue?

Is it worth buying cues online (Ebay for example).  Besides custom made cues, what brands and prices should I look for?

it is made from a dark wood and a light wood. has a custom handle (wrap) on it tan in color. dont know what it is.. leather, alligator? i just want to try to match it to see what brand it is, how old, or even the value…

What's the best pool cue maker from $500-$750?

I am looking to buy my next cue. I've had the same cue now for 7 years. It's a custom cue made by Adrian Viguera, a cuemaker out of Chicago. I absolutely love the cue, but when i bought it I had just enough for him to make me the absolute bare cue w/out any points or anything like that. It's absolutely gorgeous though. But now i am looking for a cue made by Joss or maybe Schon. I was thinking about having a Predator shaft also. I am looking to spend about $500 to $750. Joss makes a "color of money" cue replica and this kinda suits my style. Any advice?

Joss or Meucci I like the hit with a Meucci a little better but dont shoot with either one
Bout the same with the shaft I have 2 but dont shoot with them they shoot to good a lot.
A Schon and the shaft 750 aint gonna get it .
